There´s a trend to cinematic samples, meaning samples, that have that big hollywood flavour. Cinesamples, as the name implies, dedicated themselves to producing such samples. They started with CineHarp ( glisses ) and CineToms, both very useful products and now go on with “Drums of War”.

In case, you didn´t notice… there´s a new source for downloadable kontakt-instruments. On tonehammer.com, you can find a fine assortment of sounds, created by Troels Folman and Mike Peaslee, both well-known game-composers. The sounds fill some gaps and are of superb recording-quality.
