Omnisphere

Due to a highly generous upgrade option from spectrasonics, I am a proud owner of Omnisphere. I regularly use it for about six weeks now and still I am overwhelmed by the endless possibilities.

Not only does it include felt millions of sounds ( all of the athmosphere content is also there ), but most of the sounds are highly useable, whereas some of them are no less than exceptional. So it takes some time until you discover, you only scratched the surface with the presets and there´s even much more content in the audio source browser.

But what makes it really outstanding is the ability to tweak the heaven out of it ;) Everytime you edit one thing, you discover a little plus-sign next to it, indicating that there´s a deeper editor hidden under the surface. Going to this next level, you may still discover more plus-signs to even dig deeper.

To be honest… I was the typical preset-user with nearly zero desire for tweaking. This was until I got Omnisphere. Now I am able to really get to the sound I want by tweaking it, which wasn´t the case with all of the other vsti´s. So you may really call this one user-friendly and nearly self-explanatory.

I can warmly recommend it…
